THIRD LOT, LLC, is based in Lenexa, KS, a suburb of Kansas City. THIRDLOT.com is a result of extensive research into new-car dealerships, including foreign, domestic and transplant franchises. We learned that the new-car business is unusually complicated and that most of that complication comes from factory generated practices. And, many of those practices are "legacy" practices that may not be efficient or effective in today's electronic world.
It is said that it takes an outside source to truly reinvent an industry. THIRDLOT.com intends to be that source by creating an open market for our members, free from influence, easy to use, and inexpensive.
Executive Staff:
Jeffrey Winkel, Chairman. Jeff is a businessman in Kansas City, who has owned and managed an industrial distribution company for over 30 years. He holds his Aerospace Engineering degree from University of Illinois-Chicago.
Previously, Jeff saw a need for an industrial trade association for his industry where none existed. It is now a successful, international enterprise. Also, he is a recipient of the "Blue Chip Enterprise Initiative Award" from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Nation's Business Magazine, First Business and Mass Mutual for the use of technology to solve business problems. He also was awarded a Technology Exchange Grant from NASA, for developing technology to improve manufacturing efficiencies. This process is now commonly used to increase the performance of products ranging from motorsports vehicles to golf clubs.
Jeff also teaches "Professional Behaviors for Professional Salespeople" and how to "Work with Your Supply Channel Partners to Add Two Points to Both Your Bottom Lines."
Jeff lives with his wife of 37 years in a suburb of Kansas City. Their sons live in Venice, California and in Prague in the Czech Republic.
Craig Fisch, General Manager. Craig is a businessman in Kansas City, who owns a non-franchised health services business for nearly four years. He held National Sales Manager and other management positions for media companies in Texas and the Midwest for the majority of his 28-year career. He holds his Mass Communications degree from Lamar University, Beaumont, Texas.
Craig lives with his wife of 28 years in a southwest suburb of Kansas City. Their children reside in New York City, Springfield, Missouri and Savannah, Georgia.
